This cabin is located in the 200-meter stretch of the beach between Punta India and the mouth of the River Nosara and includes the village of Ostional.
Ostional wildlife refuge belongs to the canton of Santa Cruz in the province of Guanacaste.
Its importance lies in the protection, asked the Wildlife Refuge area, including the Kemp Ridley, leatherback sea turtles and a variety of birds available.
The vegetation of the refuge are usually the trees and plants from sandy soils, such as coconut, palm and royal piñuelos, among others.
As for the fauna, eXite variety of marine and terrestrial birds, turtles, mammals, reptiles and some other marine animals.
