Pacuare River Costa Rica

Pacuare River is born at an approximate height of two thousand meters, and low between huge buckets to join in the vicinity of the site called Cultivez with one of the great branches of the river Reventazón, another Caribbean tax loses its name to reach the sea, in effect, this leads to greater arm with the name of Parismina river.

At the top, the road to Moravia de Chirripo cross this river, there is a suspension bridgeof considerable length.

The Pacuare River

From Siquirres, and the waters of a small river of the same name bordering thepopulation, the Pacuare slows and begins to expand very considerably, shallow draftboats sail with some difficulty, because by the big floods that carry trees, there are manyhidden obstacles.

Addition of flora and fauna and quality of the basin source, the Pacuare is one of the great attractions of our country for rafting.
